I think having Mysterium held near Chicago would be a great idea.

...... "Shut up, Seth" is an inside joke. I'm not even from Chicago, if that's what you were getting at. :)

I'm all for Chicago...anywho, I got a bit bored earlier today, so I decided to do my research and put an attractions list together for Chicago.

Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum

Shedd Aquarium

Museum of Science and Industry

Amazing Chicago Funhouse Maze

Brookfield Zoo

Bristol Renaissance Faire
(Not before July 10th)

The Sears Tower

The Navy Pier

And to keep with tradition...
Gurnee Mills- Laser tag! (and other stuff)
Enchanted Castle- Also laser tag

More information on Chicago here ^^ Hope that was helpful.

Face :)

I've been to the Sears Tower. It's nice. I was going to go to the Navy Pier, but it was that or some Museum of Natural History. Needless to say, the museum won. Anyway.. There's also a Hard Rock Cafe and a McDonald's equivalent of it. Yes, a Rock McDonald's.. Scary, huh?

By the way, there's a great hotel in/nearby Chicago. The Pheasant Run Resort. I stayed there when I went a few years ago. Very nice place.

I would suggest that anyone or any group that wants it in Chicago, put together a website like the one Erithan did for Toronto. If you are serious, put together an official proposal, a possible list of events and sights to see. Then petition for votes. I love visiting Chicago, but the city with the most support will probably win, and San Jose people seem to be getting a jump on everybody. At least that is what I have read.
