Let us recap what the wolfdog said, shall we?

Quote

Though I would have preferred Florida so I could be certain people.

This phrase, unfortunately, has a typographical error. Please be aware of the fact that this crazy canine doesn't merely mistype words for typos, but will sometimes write entirely different words altogether, and it should have, in fact, been written as:

Quote

Though I would have preferred Florida so I could see certain people.

Now let us review the structure of said phrase.

If it would have been see a certain person, then nomad's claims (and everyone elses) would be somewhat well-founded. But if you read the phrase again, it says see certain people... 'people' being plural, meaning more than one. Leaving the assumption that the certain people are all wished to been seen, not one more than another.

Of course, it seems it didn't help that the canid did phrase it that way.

Thank you for your time, and I shall try to remind the silly puppy to proof-read his posts from this point on. :eyebrow:

:eyebrow: :D ;)

I think I may have been spending a little too much time playing *cough* a certain computer game *cough* lately given that the phrase didn't stand out to me as a typo. ;)

I was thinking along the lines of the Mickey/Goofy thing Jerle suggested. Sorry for my confuddlement.

But if we do ever go to Florida, can I be Princess Jasmine? :)

Ooohh.. Aladdin! I love that movie! (Dutch version. hehe. Sorry, it's just a little bit funnier =) Not to get off topic, but I myself simply adore Beaty And The Beast (again, Dutch version.. SO much better singer for Belle!! :) )

Hm. Yes, so, I don't really know where Chicago would be *too lazy to look it up right now*. But if a lot of my friends are going to gang up there, chances are actually pretty good that I'll be coming again.. Guess I'll just have to sell a kidney or something ;) OR not eat for a couple of months.. hmm, that way, I can lose some weight too ;)

Acorn! Uh.. No.. EEKHOORN! :eyebrow: squee? :D *giggle*

Can be very tricky typing on a keyboard made for humans with one's paws. :eyebrow: :D

I'm planning on attending ... and will do what I can to be there. Hopefully the dates will be announced very soon so I/we all can start getting our reservations in.

I'm definitely going. I don't even have to fly--Chicago is about two hours from my house.

...ROAD TRIP! :eyebrow:

I'm...well...I don't even know where I'm going to be living next summer. Probably Boston, in which case I'll probably Amtrak over (twenty hours on the train... :D at least we don't have to go through customs this time) since it's cheaper. But if I'm somewhere else...who knows?

I'll try. :eyebrow:

Cool :eyebrow: !

Mpaans, I hope to see you there...we should be able to find a decent sushi joint somewhere in Chicago. Graywolf, likewise. We can compare loot or something ;) . I've been talking to the Snake about this, and he wants to come along this time. We gotta decide whether to drive or fly. How are the roads? Is getting around expensive? Who is from the area, and can give us the straight stuff? Do the cops hassle tourists? CAN YOU GET A DECENT LATTE?

T'resah, more data, must have data...

Keep a pad of paper and a pencil by the side of the bed and as soon as you wake up and realize the dream write it down.

Okay! We're clear where.

Next (annoying) question - When?

Please believe me when I say that my June and July are already booking up. Any idea when we might know "When"?

No Bay Area this year, huh? *sigh* Oh well. I guess I can take that fabulous site of mine down then.

Another Unmysterium for me! Maybe next year...

... ;) That's it! I'll leave the site up and change all the dates to 2006! :blurp:

:pout:

On second though, I need the iDisk space. :D

(sorry if this is a small bump, BTW... I've been out of the loop for a while.)

Let me know if I can help organize this event. I'd be glad to help. It's going to be great finally meeting some of wonderful people in person!
