I shall be there. Period.

Now where is it going to be (I know Chicago - Where in Chicago)? I am planning but I need some help here. I hope it is on an EL line. I can't afford to park downtown, I'd like to save my money for the fun stuff. :)

I am, beyond a doubt, going to Mysterium this year, too.
Chicago's only three hours northwest from me... so I'd be stupid not to, heh.

Of course, this is barring anything abnormally horrible from happening between now and then, but the weekend's free (and, even if it wasn't, I'd go anyway) and everyone here (well, my family, basically) knows I'm going, sooo... yep!

I have a snowball's chance in the Sahara of going, much as I'd like to go, so...no.

I'm planning to, but it depends on whether I can find a job and whether I can get the weekend off from said job. I really want to; I'd hate to miss it.

For several reasons, including extremely paranoid US security measures, I'm not yet certain whether I'll attend or not. I'd say the odds are currently at about 60%.

Those odds will become higher if any of these events occur:
  • I can find a way to avoid having my fingerprints taken.
  • I know for sure that I'll have something enjoyable to do after Mysterium.
  • Everyone tells me it wouldn't be the same without me.:)

So who wants to carpool in the FahrmMobile?! :)

(Uh, yeah, seeing as how Chicago's only two hours southwest of me, I'd be crazy not to go, y0. ;))

I'm planning to go. That is, if my parents finally clear it as okay. It should be okay, but my prior means of transportation is going on another trip, so I'm trying to get it so that they can go and I don't have to go with them.

I'm planning on being there. I'm not making flight reservations until the hotel is announced and the dates fully confirmed though.

I'm planning on it, but I'll have to fly solo again and there's always the chance something will come up--but yeah, probably.

T'resah, who'd rather drive but what the hey :)

Now that the community has chosen Chicago for the location of Mysterium 2005, people are asking for the dates. After careful consideration of the scheduled events in Chicago, it has been determined that the best dates will be July 22-24, 2005.

But agreed on the hotels statement.

As much as I would love to see you all in person, my parents would definitely not approve of me dishing out hundreds of dollars to trek across the country and meet online friends for a couple of days. I just can't justify the costs involved. Thus, unless I can somehow find a job in the Chicago area over the summer, I don't think I'll be able to come. Not that any of you really care one way or another, of course. :)

Ah well. There's always Mass Mysteria. :)

Tweek ... Please read the following thread Any ideas regarding hotels?, (Chicago Mysterium). I do not see how dates can be confirmed before the hotel is confirmed for the same weekend. This is too risky and costly to just guess or assume.

No Mysterium for Wanais. Even EuroMysterium is a bit too far unless I can combine it with some other trip :)

Is anyone going to be bringing a Camcorder? Cause I have plans to do a short film after I've gone to Mysterium.
