TEH PICTURES: SATURDAY

;)

The crew (sans moiety, who's taking the picture)

[no pictures of: mapparium, lunch at pizzaria uno :) ]

Brave explorers Shoomlah and GallifreyLady prepare for the descent into the TOMB of the Pharao

Gobo ponders which hat would suit the mission best

Various artifacts found in the TOMB

Looks like Cleopatra had quite the arsenal of perfumes

Pazuzu and Anna Catherine are distracted by something shiny

Shoomlah makes a new friend

Anna Catherine asks: Have YOU hugged the god of death today?

Oh no! How do we get into the TOMB? Could it be... a puzzle?! ;)

Whew! With all the snakes, noxious gases, malfunctioning lanterns and dropping ceilings, who'd've thunk it? We actually made it out alive!!

The crew arrives in a warm place for presentations, "slightly" wet

Shoomlah reveals something about Haven's simians, and shows what everyone suspected: wharks love sunners... for lunch! :squee:

TEH PICTURES: SUNDAY

:squee:

Shoomlah captures the wildlife on paper

GallifreyLady smiling while Pazuzu is enthralled by the info display on the waterbirds

The Aquarium had been warned that a bunch of MYST fans were coming, and put up these warnings as a precaution. (Magnifying glasses were banned as well.)

Shoomlah's linking book glows in the Aquarium due to special lighting

Attack of the Jellyfish!

Ooooooh, pretty!

These belong to Sirrus...

...and these to Atrus.

AnnaCat and Shoomlah perform an interpretive dance about what it's like being a jellyfish

The crew having lunch at the Aquarium's overpriced cafeteria

They're everywhere... and they have a plan. ;)

Awwwww, they're a couple! (Um. Yep. They're a couple. Ahem.)

Hey, Bob! See those Mysteria attendees? You distract them while I grab their ice cream! *whisper whisper whisper*

Whale. Well, at one point it was.

OMG Sealions.

Pretty coral!

AnnaCat had a plan to smuggle one out under her coat. Heh, don't blame her! I want two! ;)

No, sorry, I haven't seen Nemo

Trickster delighted us by showing up out of nowhere and joining the gang at the Aquarium.

He also has a really cool taste in hats.

As does Pazuzu...

...and Shoomlah...

...while Moiety demonstrates that he can't keep his mind off lobsters.

Ah, awesome. I often wonder if it wouldn't be more fun to go to one of these smaller gatherings than to a big Mysterium.

I guess it's a bit academic, as it's unlikely I'll be going anywhere near North America in the next couple of years... :squee:

IMO, no. But smaller gatherings can be held more often, which is good...:squee:

Great pictures, Moiety :squee: I have a few pics from the hall outside the Mapparium and of that cool fountain. I'll post them soon. I'm sorry my friend and I left right before the Tomb show ;) but my friend had to catch the 5:30 train. The train after that wasn't until 10pm. But we did have fun at the Gardner Museum, even though we did wander off from everyone else a few times (sorry!), and at lunch and at the Mapparium. It was great to meet other Myst fans, too ;)
