I' don't know if this is where I'm suposed to post this, I'm not really sure where it should go so if this is the wrong place I apologize.

I read somewhere on the forums that Cyan plan to do other D'ni releated games ,but not nessicaraly haveing anyhting to do with Atrus?

If this is still the case, I take it they plan to do this AFTER this Latus thing?

I don't think it's likely they'll do anything more D'ni related, at least not in the form of games anyway. I reckon anything they ever do that's D'ni related at all will be very different to anything we've seen before, if only because they'd get sick of doing the same stuff all the time. That's basically why they're doing something new with Latus, anyway.

Surely they're going to publish the Book of Marrim at some point.

Don't bet on it. From what I can tell, it's unfinished, and there has been little to no work done on it recently. It's on a back burner, and it will only ever be published if they find the time and energy to start work on it again. Right now nothing is happening, and it's entirely plausible that it will stay that way.

So, hopefully they'll finish it and publish it, but I think it's far from a sure thing.

Don't get ahead of yourself.  "Myst" may be ending, but that doesn't mean D'ni and linking books are.  Myst V will be the last *Myst* game--the end of the story of Atrus' family (after all, how many times can "The Stranger" realistically have to save Atrus' neck?), but there's still potential for more D'ni.  Even if not through Uru, "worlds without" end are still out

It's probably where you read it.
