What happened? I

entered Todelmer, turned on the power behind the telescope controls, came out, saw the symbols high up onthe building, drew the first one on the tablet, and freed the slate.
Escher told me the slate was freed, and 'Well done!', leaving me to think this age was solved. On coming here and reading other entries, it seems there is a lot to this age I didn't do. :P Did I goof? Should I start over? or just go back and find something I missed (and if so, what?)

It's a bug. You should continue playing the Age and pretend you never drew that symbol (unless it was your intention to cheat, obviously). You could also load an old save game to get rid of it.

Thanks, Free Bird. No, it wasn't an intentional cheat-- just frustrated without knowing what to do, so I started randomly drawing symbols around me onto the slate. It DID seem rather a bit too easy! I've gone back to a new game and promptly got myself stuck a bit further in. :P (I can't -wait- to get to the age where the
