I have a Question Generating spaceship

So i have been searching for the answer on the internet and everything i try dose only power but the one scale not the 2nd is there somthing im missing?

Oh by the way im where you are about to go into the second age but i have to power up the generater first.

It sounds like you blew a circuit breaker. You'll have to find it and reset it.

Your current situation is a common pitfall in Myst. But fear not - there is a solution.

The fortress and tallest tree are not the only tall things on the island - there are other structures, but they are considerably shorter. Look around - and look up.

There is a box in your house. In this box, there are tiny levers. These tiny levers protect you from a shockingly bad occurrence - like a fire or something else that is as fast as lightning.

You're halfway there: you have the power to make the Spaceship respond. You must break this circuit of confusion by finding something tall, made of brick, and climbable.

You've tripped a circuit breaker. There are two located at the top of brick towers. You have to find these towers and set the levers back, just like you would do in your house's circuitry system when the power goes out.
