In Serenia, without asking for details, will the ability to keep stuff like soap bubbles, cotton balls or flaming nectar(?) in your hand be relevant to a puzzle later?

Because I find it completely impossible to hold for more than a single step before losing it when I either move the mouse two quickly or some kind of timer runs out. I know there are some tough time-constraint/dexterity puzzles in this game, like the frequencies in Spire and the monkeys in Haven, but I've managed both of those and this final thing is impossible for me. Do I need a better computer to finish the game?

There is, but it is shortened by quick movements.

It is relevant later, but judging from the fact that you don't know if it is, it probably isn't yet. You have to move very slowly, but quick enough that they don't dissapear. Also the distance that they need to move isn't very far if you know where everything is.
