Recently, I was looking at the Exile PS2 cover and it says on the back, "Conquer seven ages of puzzle-solving adventure in your search for the elusive Saavedro." Is this an error? Because I think the only other age shown was Releeshahn, which is unaccessible.

I can't think of any. I agree that they're probably thinking of Releeshahn, but again, it is not accessible (unless in PS2 it is different?) and has no puzzle-solving adventure...

... as opposed to the other games, which really have no more or less puzzle-solving than Exile does. :cheesy:

Tomahna
J'nanin
Edanna
Voltaic
Amateria
Narayan
...
Yep, six.
And there's practically no puzzle-solving in Tomahna, either, so there's really only five ages of puzzle-solving adventure.

But they could justify it by saying that you get information that helps you solve puzzles. Releeshan, however...

:cheesy:

Now that would be even more crazy of a mistake.

"What's the seventh age?"
"Riven."
"I can't go there."
"Yes you can?"
"How?"
"Buy Riven."
"But-"
"See?"

Well, if you're going to be literal, you technically "conquer" Releeshahn, since the Descriptive Book is at your mercy at the end of the game. There should be an alternate ending where you can throw the book off of Narayan yourself just to see Atrus' response.

There should be. I think Atrus would hammer you. Which would be cool.

Anyway, you perhaps "conquer" Releeshahn, but it isn't an "Age of Puzzle Solving Adventure" in the game (or in any other), so that doesn't count.

Knowing the respective habits of Atrus and the Stranger, Atrus would probably just leave a linking book lying around somewhere...leading to an Age with no way back.

Probably first telling you that Katherine had gotten stuck in a collapsing Age again.
