OK, according to this handy website, Monday October 12th is a holiday, so the three-day weekend of Columbus day is October 10-12. How about this one-day-long Boston-area mini-mysterium thing happening one one of the days during that weekend? Please vote, and if you can only make it during some portion of that weekend, please comment, OK? Whether it will happen on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday will depend on people's availability, or, if people are all available all weekend, it'll depend on which activities are available on which days.

This can also give us a bit of a headcount, too :arianna:

(edited for clarity--this is probably going to be a one-day event, not a 3-day smorgasboard, people :rotflol:)

Chances are, knowing my school, I will have homework to do at some point on that weekend. It could be that I can just do all of it in school on Friday, or after school, and then have the whole weekend free, but I might need to take a day during the weekend for homework...

Yep--just to be clear, we're currently shooting for one day of stuff, so the other two days should be clear for homework :arianna: You don't have any constraints on which two days would be homework and which day would be mini-mysterium, right?

Ack! I'm a bad, bad man :P I just remembered that my two-year anniversary with my girlfriend is on the 11th! :arianna: As much as we both enjoy Myst, I think we're probably going to be spending that day alone, so if we could gather on the 10th or 12th, it would be much appreciated :rotflol:

Also one little thing, it's actually Monday the 12th, not the 13th. 13th was last year :D Columbus Day Weekend is October 10 (Saturday) - 12 (Monday)

Fail! OK, editing the original post to say 10-12. Thanks for spotting that!

Taniith on UO had a preference for a Saturday, which would be the 10th, which would work best for you as well. So it looks like that would be the ideal day that weekend, unless our information changes a lot.

Saturday's probably our best bet, yeah. That also gives everyone a chance to sulk/recover on Sunday/Monday before school/work starts up again :arianna:
