Where can I find simple, free critique for short stories on the web? I used to have a list of such useful links, but the sites are dead now

Hey again everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone knew a site (or bunch of sites) where young, totally amateur writers can get free critique on their work or even find workshops in order to get better? I have already found several sites on my own, but I'd like things that are more detailed than just "basic tips", as well as constructive critique. I mean, comments and such are nice, but not always helpful- and what I need is help.
The reason why I'm asking this here and now is that I'm kind of desperate considering it took me over five hours to finish a short story's first draft, and then three more hours today to make the second draft. The thing is that I need to submit it to a regional contest next week and want it to be good- or at least readable!
Thanks in advance for the help :)
I might even post the story at stake somewhere here for you guys to read it if it's any good once it's finished ^^

If it's fanfiction you're writing, you could always go on FFN and request a Beta. I Beta on FFN frequently, but I'm busy with someone else just now. And you need an account at FFN.

If it's original, I think FictionPress.com also offers Beta services... However, as with FFN you must have an account there to do it.

Does that help at all?

Might take a little while for them to come back but they did a review on my first book Journey to Kalazire, worth a go...
