Does anyone have a saved game around this time that they could send us? Since I know, having played before, that the color code on the Spire amulet is needed later, and is different in each game, it would also be helpful to have a save from the same game that let's us link back to Spire and see the amulet.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have no saved games but I can tell you that you can always link back to Spire(at least in the end when you need the code) to look it up.

Pretty sure I have one, let me have a look when I get home tonight.
If I have I will post it on my website and put a link here.

A) Cyan people have as member title "Cyan worlds"
B) Rand => http://www.mystcommu...p?showuser=1456
so no, while he could be called Rand, he is not Rand Miller. And certainly not "RAND" I don't think you would be allowed to name your child like that.

OK, problem I have is that the files are named by date and timestamp so I have no idea what is what - no problem there I could just send you the whole lot BUT... You just knew there was going to be a but. Each file is between 25 and 35 Meg!
I have a size limit on my website and these may just push me to that limit.
Can put them on a CD if you want to pm me an address, beyond that not sure what to do...
Let me know...

Johnraka, I had no idea they would be exceptionally large files. Is it practical to get them to Kaelri's website? Or to compress them and send them straight to me?
If not, realXCV, do you have a game that's identified as being at, or near, the point I've requested?

Aah, didn't realise that they would compress so much, this shouldn't pose a problem then, only thing is that you may have to just dump the whole lot into your games folder and experiment as to which one you need, as I say they are date and time stamped within the filename, if I go into the game then I can see the description (how I saved it).
Will zip them up tonight and post them up on my site, will put the link here for you - I already have Riven saved games on the site so shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks again Johnraka. I'll do as you suggested and find a save that will get us back to where we left off.

Average size is around 25mb, I have 22 files with the right datestamp on them but combined they come to 635Meg!!!
The only way I could get that to you is by CD, happy to do it but posting it on a site is not practical.
Can't understand how RealXCV got them so small...

Ah, the pictures, that explains everything, couldn't understand why a saved game should have been so large.
Its great to have people on the forum who know this stuff, something I have learned today - cheers..
Hopefully Randwill you are all sorted?

I noticed when arriving in Serenia that Yeesha's necklace was missing. So I linked back to Tomanha and then to Spire to make sure that Spire was finished. It was. So I went back to Tomanha, grabbed the necklace, linked back to Serenia and we were back to the situation as we left it before the data loss.
I'm only left with the nagging feeling that someone played all of Spire without Yeesha's necklace and maybe even Serenia too!
