Some of you may have seen the Developments in Devokan (Fan Fiction) thread over on the MOULa forums before. It ran for a full nineteen pages, and what made it so unique was that it wasn't just set in the Myst/Uru universe, but across the "multiverse", with locales in Second Life and OSgrid as well.

Well, another chapter of that story has drawn to a close now, but as is the theme of the story, in every ending there is a new beginning. There's a new thread for the continuing story, called The Devokan Trust (Fan Fiction), and while it's mostly empty so far, it won't be for long. How do I know? Because I'm going to help tell the story. :)

I've been posting on the Devokan Trust Forums for a few months now. Since I'm not allowed to visit Second Life, my journal entries are focused on my experiences in-Cavern, across the fan-made Ages, and in OSgrid (referred to as the world of Restoration when IC). Just recently, I was asked by Quin, a key character, to be a "research assistant" for the Trust. I'll be helping to investigate goings-on across the different worlds of the Devokan story, and writing about them in my journal.

You'll be able to follow the general story in the new thread on the MOULa forums, or, if you want more detail, you can view the individual journals of the characters on the Devokan Trust Forums. Additionally, there are tips there on how to access the worlds mentioned in the story.

Hopefully, we'll soon be able to see each other in Shell 415 of Ahra Pahts, as well as across the other Ages and worlds! (assuming I haven't driven you crazy with all of these links :p ).

Really? That's interesting. I've never seen any conflict over the Devokan story (we are talking about the same one, right? The one that's mostly been told by Dot up to now?)

not so much the story as some of the people involved. But I don't want to go into this really, just felt like it was a good idea to warn you. I'm not telling you not to do it.Just.. idk maybe I shouldn't have mentioned it.

Perhaps you two should take this discussion to PMs.

I for one haven't heard of it at all. I'll have to check out what you're writing, Zenoc. :D

Personally, I'd never heard of this before, but it sounds interesting :)
