Time honored traditions are rare these days, mainly because so many of us are caught up in the hunt for the Higgs boson, and we forget even to brush our teeth. But one tradition stands above all others, so rock solid that the National Institute of Standards and Technology synchronizes its Atomic Clock with its annual appearance. I am, of course, talking about

Jerle's Christmas Present!!!

Because I'm a whole week earlier this year, I've had the opportunity to scour the four corners of the Earth for the best possible present ever. Little did I realize it would be found so close to (my) home, and so shipping will not be a problem as it apparently has been in the past (given that Jerle reports that she has never, in fact, received our gift, but she is optimistic they will appear soon).

Here it is:

Yessiree, it is the INuke Boom Box, in all its 8 feet wide by 4 feet tall, 700 pounds, 10,000 watts of power glory. The $29,999.99 price tag should not present a problem, as I'm sure donations will easily cover that as long as Jerle is (very) patient about the actual delivery date.

So raise a glass of eggnog with your favorite supplemental beverage added, and let us all toast Jerle:

Merry Christmas!!!!

That's not a thing, is it? There's no way that's a thing.

I must say that I first mistook the INuke Boom Box for a toaster, but since then my mistake was caught and I gained a proper appreciation for the full embrace of the modern, European design which remains true to BEHRINGER’s roots in professional audio engineering that I can see in the device.

What! You think we would give Jerle a non-existing thing for christmas! XD

I think we are being kind of cheap this year, how does this live up to the teddybear with gold and the personal submarine*?(who are still in the mail)

*could not find the forum thread, but it is legendary and should be mentioned at least once in these threads

I agree. The personal submarine was... Legendary is indeed the word.
But we've also had some good cheap presents in the past. You forget the dissected Furby and a couple of pretty odd gifts :chairfall:

This year, Jerle, I give you...
Spoiler

I hope you like it. :)
Also, you'll have to give it a name now that it's yours. Suggestions, anyone?

::Thinking::Thinking::Thinking::

I can't beat those presents or my humiliating and failed attempt to write a limerick about Jerle several years ago...

There once was a woman named Jerle
Who was beautiful and bright as a pearl
Um.. That’s where I should have stopped

Anyway, I can only think of the classic gifts. How about a 110 cup coffee maker?

Allatwan? Is your present a relative of this gentle creature?
