Help
It's been a long while since I last posted here so I apologise if I've put this in the wrong place. So, the reason for my post - last year I completed my Masters in Secondary Education specialising in Visual Art. Before that I'd achieved a Bachelor degree in Fine Art and have done several years of non-University art training. During my Masters degree I had to build an educational resource around an artwork or body of work for one of my courses. It was the major assignment for that course so much effort and many hours went into it.
As you may have guessed from the fact I'm posting here, the artwork I based this around was Myst, and to a slightly lesser extent its sequels. And yes, I did use these forums as a resource
The assignment required the resource to be electronic/ technology based so I built it using Blogger as I'm familiar with it and find it easy to use. Originally I was simply going to take the page down but rather I've decided I'll leave it up - for a while at least - for anyone who may to interested to use. As mentioned this was for an art course so it focuses on art and how art is viewed/ taught in the NSW, Australia secondary curriculum. Still, folks teaching other subjects and in other countries will probably still find it useful. Even if you're not a teacher you might find some of the content interesting (at least I hope so
). It's full of teacher and education speak, but hopefully it won't be too hard to understand for those who aren't familure with that metalanguage. I'm happy to explain any terms, however.So please, if you're interested, head on over to the site and have a look. I'd be very interested to hear what people thing.
