http://www.mtn-man.o...nshotswide.html this website says that that picture is at the end of E'rcana. Now, E'rcana is a desert, so is this a fake? if not, could someone post other screenshots of this area?

That's real. Er'cana isn't that arid* (and if I recall correctly, the clothing pickup from Er'cana is long-sleeved, so it might be rather cold), and Ages can surprise you.

I always liked that view, but apparently I don't have any pictures of it sitting around. Apparently this is what the mountains and lake alone look like, though (at an angle you can't get in normal gameplay).

*Actually, looking at the water level there... are the canyons actually the old river beds, with the lake dammed up by the complex?

It's possible to see the mountains before the end if you know to look for them.

That seems like a pretty valid theory, considering how canyons are made.

Well, geologically it's almost surely old river beds (and maybe glaciers). I never noticed how high the water level was, though - nor thought too much about the shape of the complex. The picture you posted makes it look even more strikingly like a dam. It would explain how easily you can fill tanks, all the overflow pipes, possibly some of the power... Posted Image
