Yes, the Five Cores is available (http://neeblagames.com/store/) and I have downloaded it for silly money, going to start playing it tonight.
Have also bought the soundtrack (and 5 other albums from the same site), http://aylahn.bandcamp.com/

Brilliant stuff, if you love Myst like music you will love all of these and they really are 'silly money' for good quality MP3 downloads.

Looking forward to the game, it seems like ages since we have had a Myst style game to play and especially one with decent music that just adds to the mood...

Ha ha, well I had sound issues that tech support managed to sort out for me, I notice the controls are a little skittish but the environment looks good, pretty good considering it took the guy only a year to create.

Download and installed ok.

Only had the briefest of looks at it....but it's very pretty.

Thought I'd carefully explore one small area.....all went well......then I found a small glowing stone in the bushes ( looked like a fire marble !)....and suddenly I was somewhere else altogether !!!!!

So much for the careful exploration of one area lol

And now I've finally got a wee bit of time to start playing this game.

I've received an email from the publisher telling me that the game has been revamped and that I'd be advised to download a whole new version of the game.

So I've done that.....installed it......and now it won't play !

If I put the old version back on then it will play .

So here's my dilemma....is the game playable and finish-able ( not a real word !) using the original game ?

Any thoughts ?

I was able to play all the way through on the original with it's 1.1 patch.

Haven't tried the 1.2 rebuild yet...

Got the 1.2 rebuild, all went without a hitch and plays, only issue I had was sound and that was down to my setup - the support forum is pretty good and they will come back to you quickly.
They will ask for a log file (can't remember which one it was but they know) - from that they can tell exactly where the issue is.
Sorry you are having problems with it though as the 1.2 patch seems to be an improvement - for me anyway.

Looks like the Store is closed. I can't find a link to buy the game.

And where are the minimum computer specs?

:(

Not sure but doesn't require anything too meaty, mine is only a dual core machine and it ran fine on 1Gig of ram, now I am up to 4 Gig it is even better.

http://neeblagames.com/ doesn't show the game anymore - huh? What has happened there?

Contact is: postmaster@neeblagames.com Hopefully the guy can help and explain what is wrong with the site.

http://neeblagames.com/forum/index.php (Forum is good for sorting problems) once you have the game of course, on the other hand you could use the forum to ask what is wrong with the site.

If anyone is still looking for this game, I found it available through the Just Adventure store.

http://justadventure.com/

I tried to get it direct from the developer but they don't seem to sell it anymore (weirdly...) so JA may be your best bet.

Looks like the whole Neeblagames site no longer exists but the domain is still registered, what a shame, had conversed with this guy through the support forums - seemed like a solid kinda guy, always willing to help, looks like he may have gone to the wall - what a pity.
At least I managed to get a copy of the game before he went under.

That's a shame. I'm always in the market for indie developers whose products interest me. Seems like this could potentially have been one. (I haven't actually started the game yet, but based on trailers and reviews.) It's a tough industry, though. At least the game is still generating some revenue.

E-mailed the guy last night, e-mail hasn't bounced back yet so assuming he is still around, hopefully will have an update later.

I started playing and it's fun so far. :)

Is there any way to toggle run/walk? The movement feels a bit fast for exploration.

The default state is 'Walk', to run just hold down the centre mouse button (Scroll wheel), yes it is a little fast, I don't think there is any way to change that short of going into a config file and changing one of the settings.

The default is walk? Yikes, I don't think I will run. ;)

Thanks for the info. :)

Any idea on system specs?
I have the demo but with everything turned off or low it still feels a bit jerky.
I am on win 7-64 4Gb athlon x2 3Ghz. Graphics is a asus hd5450 1Gb.
Wondering if there might be cheap easy upgrade which might make a big difference?

Have you got the 1.2 Rebuild?
That sorted out a lot of the jerkiness.

If you haven't then PM me, in the absence of the website and any support I can help you out with that as it is only a patch.
Your spec should be fine, the early version of the game had minor issues with graphics and sound that was sorted out by the patch.

Email bounced back as undeliverable - what a shame if this has gone to the wall, after all the effort the guy put into this, a real shame...
