Hi. So several years ago Cyan made a 'sequel' to 'Cosmic Osmo and the Worlds Beyond Mackerel' called 'Cosmic Osmo's Hex Isle.' However it was more of a 3D puzzle game than a point-and-click or exploration game. I'm not really sure what the gameplay was like because there's hardly any information about it. I believe it was available through a website called Fanista which has since been discontinued. There is still a page for the game on Cyan's site here that says

(Unfortunately, a current version of Cosmic Osmo’s Hex Isle is not available. Oh sure, we’ve got a few boxes at Cyan, but, Dan, we need your help to bring it back. Dan?)

Not sure who Dan is, some kind of inside joke I guess? Anyway, has anyone here played this game? Do you still have it? What is it like? Do you know if it's available somewhere in some capacity?

The gameplay was an abstract jumping puzzle. You have a hex grid (with gaps), and you have to get from point A to point B while hitting every hexagon exactly once. Or twice. I think there were some timing twists later on (moving or intermittent hexes).

I see. How long was it? How many levels, and did they all look the same?

Do you own it? Where did you get ahold of it?

I don't remember how many levels there were. Maybe 80? All different.

I bought it off Fanista's web site, early 2008.

Incidentally, would with a copy be willing to lend it out if it turns out we live nearby? Or do a temporary game trade or something?
