Didn't go then...

To be honest - not too surprised, there was nothing really to tie it to Riven or the production of Riven.

Hope he is more successful with the next item, to be honest this was reaching a bit...

What I would like? I don't know what actually exists or might exist, but something I think would be really cool is a working spinning book done.

I don't mean as in real live working book, that would be out of this world (literally). I mean a working model where the dome spins and at the press of a button the dome opens with the book table mechanism, changes.

that would be the ultimate desk toy :)

Ha ha ha....I think the chances would be pretty slim I'm afraid.

I'd love one of those rotating balls with the numbers on it.

I've seen then on the internet that people have made......but they never sell them ! Lol

How much would an original one of those sell for ?

Well, all of this memorabilia seems to have dried up, there was quite a bit more and some of it very very desirable but clearly this is not going to hit the market - a real shame...

Yeah.....we'd all hope that the good stuff might appear before the end of the year.

Still as it exists it may hopefully appear at some point.......the danger is that is just disappears, gets lost or gets chucked out !

I'll be amazed if this sells at that price !

It's nice item.....but not something that would interest me I'm afraid.

Can't see anyone being 1000 dollar interested lol

It would be lovely to have but for that much I'd have backed Obduction at a crazy tier, or something.

I'm with you Capella, as much as I love Riven I would have given the thousand bucks to Cyan for Obduction...

Hmmm, didn't sell then, I thought it was way overpriced...
If he had gone for $300 then I think it would have had a better chance but not at a grand.

.....and yet again this item fails to sell.

So what can we deduce from this ?

From my point of view a jacket doesn't really have any worth or interest.

I would never wear it.......and other than somehow turning it into a display item I can't see the point of having it.......and to be honest I don't think I'd like it hanging on a wall anyway.

I guess what most of us are interested in here are smaller items......or things that are clearly related to the actual game world......or are clearly part of the process that led to the design format or look of the game world.

That of course is only my opinion........any other thoughts ?

Best Regards,

David G

Agreed David, was hoping for more of the development stuff (bear in mind I have seen the full details of what he originally wanted to sell), so far everything has been overvalued and as a consequence overpriced which is a real shame, sadly Riven memorabilia doesn't command that high a price.
Wish him well selling the rest of the stuff...
