This looks like it'll be fun! I've been thinking about getting a new game to play, I'll download this tonight after work.

I am trying to download this, but the first one failed after about 30 minutes. The second time got to 500Mb easily in about 20 minutes and then next 20Mb has taken nearly as long! Anyone else having trouble?

Well I waited for like 30 minutes for this to download...only for my antivirus to detect it as a potential threat and delete it. I'm assuming it is a false positive, but yeah.

If people are having issues downloading it I could burn the original download file to a CD or put a link to my site and see if that works, will need to contact the owner first though to check if that is ok, will come back and let you know, if anybody is interested (there will be no charge for postage or anything) PM me.

Kind regards

JD

I downloaded and installed the game successfully, but when I try running it I get an error from UDK. :( I have quite an old PC, maybe it just can't handle it.

So I played the game for a couple of hours today and I'm seriously impressed.

The musical score and the puzzles are very authentic to the style of Myst, and it's just challenging enough to be super fun and not ridiculous. It sounds cliche, but there were a few times I forgot I was playing a fangame. The entertainment value is right up there. Also, I'm actually stuck on a puzzle right now, haha. Taking a break to rest my mind for a little before I go back to that.

The only thing I've run into so far is that the English translation is a little rushed and choppy at points. I can get a basic idea of what's going on/tell what the story is, but there were some things I had to look over a few times to decide what was being said. I know that translating a game isn't always an easy process though (in fact, one of my favorite Indie games was also originally created in French and translated, with some occasionally bumpy results), and it hasn't detracted from my overall enjoyment of the game. I can only admonish the translation job so much because the game itself is so polished and well-designed, and it's obvious that a lot of time and effort was put into making it the best it could be.

A run down of the story, at least as I'm interpreting it (spoilers below, obviously):

Not sure, do they do a PC emulator for the Mac? Just a thought...

Did get it downloaded eventually. Played it tips weekend with a lot of hint help. I didn't want to spend ages on it and was a bit jerky in places. Low end graphics card. I am clearly very rusty, but I did feel that the puzzle clues were a bit too obscure sometimes hotspot hunting. Made sense in the end but not always clear that I would have got it eventually.
was very well done and the characters really got into you. I felt sad for amalie and left behind lea. Overall a very sad story.
