Recently, I learned that the guy who was the first to see, test, and give suggestions about my Myst-related tools (the three biggest ones) has died last February.

About a year ago he told me that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer just before Christmas. After months of chemotherapy, a surgery and I don't know what else, he finally succumbed on February 17, 2015.

I was waiting for him to contact me when he would be ready to continue working on one of his own app. Sadly, that email from Ron Hayter, creator of Riveal and Revelator, will never come.

Really sad to hear this, loved the programs that Ron created, a real shame and a great loss to the community.
RIP Ron and thank you.

This is an overwhelming shame. I hate to hear about yet another community loss. :( He did so much good work for us, and he'll be missed.

I don't know what to say except I will miss his genius and contributions to the community and wish I knew him better. He was obviously a great guy with a passion for understanding technology and helped us see behind the scenes of the MYST games.

Thanks, realXCV for letting us know.
