It took 22 thousand of us to raise $1.4 million for Obduction.........but only 6392 of us to raise $1 million for a Myst related crazy is that ?

    Hi folks,

All signed up for the Maintainer rewards !

Didn't go higher cause I didn't really fancy the inkwell much.....I did think about it......but no.

Had it been Ghen's clock or even one of the rotating balls from Riven I would have defo went for

Looking at the money that has come in for this campaign it is really interesting.

If you compare the numbers of backers for Obduction and the cash raised.....compared to this campaign and the cash raised so shows just how much love there is still out there for all things Myst....particularly for all things "old style" Myst....and how quickly we old faithfuls are prepared to hand over our cash and support.

If a new "old style" Myst game was to be placed on Kickstarter I wonder just how much Cyan could raise ?

It's always nice to see Cyan producing something new.....or "newish"

I've managed to get all my games working in Windows 10....although Exile animations are a bit sticky at times.

Riven & End of Ages I got from GOG and my Revelation DVDs worked first time !

What I can't seem to find any more are the NOCD patches I had for Exile and Revelation which is a pain....stored them somewhere, now no idea

All the above being stated however.....I'd still support Cyan and buy the special Win10 edition !

I'm just glad to have it working at

When I was on the GOG forum for Riven a clever user advised how to get into the Scumm options and this enablse you you put a filter on the graphics.

Normally I like to see things just as they are, but adding the filter over Riven's ageing graphics adds a nice softness to the game and improves the viewing experience in my option.

Still not sure if the videos are from the DVD or the CD version....peoples option on this seems to vary from post to post and from forum to forum !
