Revelation Install Good - Yet Game won't start Options

I've installed / unistalled this game twice ... on two different systems ... both duplicating the problem ...

When I attempt to start the game, it loads the screen with the book then to a black screen ... after a few seconds it goes straight back to my desktop.

This is a brand spanking new system ... less than 2 months old ... any advice to get this game going would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT:

After tweaking the Compatibility Tab to this:


I now get the screen where I can click "PLAY" .... HOWEVER, I now get an error message that says "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application" even though Disc 2 IS in the drive.
